Introduction

This book consists of three parts, each of which stands alone. The first part aims to explain the element of truth in Islam, or to show Islam in its pristine brilliance under the headings of premises and subheadings of matters. The second part discovers the element of eloquence. The third part is about the elements of faith and contains answers given to questions asked by some Japanese people.

Taken all together, the parts provide a key to an understanding of the Qur’an from the perspectives of such physical sciences as astronomy and geology, and from social sciences such as anthropology and sociology.
