Abdulkadir Badilli

Abdulkadir Badilli was born in 1936 in a village called Seyhzeliha. His father’s name is Abdullah and his mother’s name is Havva. In the year 1953, he visited Bediuzzaman Said Nursi 3 times and Said Nursi accepted him as one of his students. Since 1953, Abdulkadir Badilli has continued his Risale-i Nur service. He was awarded a PhD by Harran University. He speaks Turkish, Arabic, Ottoman and Kurdish. His house is filled with Bediuzzaman memorabilia. He owns a lot of items that once belonged to Bediuzzaman Said Nursi including the cubbe of Maulana Halid-i Bagdadi.
He has written a 3 volume biography of Bediuzzaman Said Nursi, The Risale-i Nur’s holy sources, along with other books based on the Risale-i Nur. He has also written a translation of Epitomes of Light and Signs of Miraculousness.
