Film: “A Righteous Servant of God
(Allah’in Sadik Kulu)
The Life of Bediüzzaman Said Nursi

Where: Donahue Auditorium, Dolan Center for Science & Technology

When: 6:30 p.m.
 

The film specifically recounts Nursi’s years in Barla, a town in Isparta province, where he stayed for seven years between 1927 and 1934.

Dr. Paul L. Heck, Associate Professor of Islamic Studies at Georgetown University’s Department of Theology

Ibn Khaldun is the most important figure in the field of History and Sociology in Islamic history. He
is one of those shining stars that contributed so richly to the understanding of civilization.
