Biography

Prof Yasien Mohamed is a lecturer in Arabic. His research interests include Arabic language and literature, Islamic philosophy, and language methodology. He has edited several books, including The Teaching of Arabic in South Africa, and Roots to Writing in Southern Africa. He is the co-author of First Steps in Arabic Grammar; and author of Fitrah: the Islamic Concept of Human Nature
